Payment Policy

1. Overview

This page outlines our payment, currency, cancellation and refund policies. Lesson prices and availability can be found on the booking page. We are committed to full transparency so that you understand exactly what you are paying before, during, and after your transaction.

2. Currency & Pricing

All lesson prices are set by the tutor in EUR. The EUR price is the authoritative price for all transactions. To make browsing easier, our platform detects your approximate location and displays an estimated price in your local currency based on current exchange rates.

Where a local currency equivalent is shown, the original EUR price is also displayed for reference. The local currency amount is an estimate only and may differ slightly from the final charged amount due to exchange rate fluctuations.

3. Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a certified PCI Level 1 Service Provider — the highest level of certification in the payments industry.

Stripe handles currency conversion from EUR to your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of the transaction. Stripe's exchange rates may include a small conversion margin, which is standard for international payment processing.

Your bank or card issuer may apply additional foreign transaction fees or use a different exchange rate. These fees are determined by your financial institution and are outside the control of this platform. We recommend checking with your bank regarding any applicable fees before booking.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel a confirmed lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time and receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson are not eligible for a refund.

If the tutor cancels a lesson, you will always receive a full refund regardless of timing.

5. Refunds

Eligible refunds are processed through Stripe to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency. Due to exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and the time of refund, the refunded amount in your local currency may not be identical to the amount originally charged. This is a standard consequence of international currency exchange.

6. Price Accuracy

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure prices are accurate and current, we do not warrant that all pricing information is free from error. In the event of a discrepancy, the EUR price as set by the tutor is the definitive price.

We reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing and to update prices at any time without prior notice.
